I grew up an extreme sports enthusiast skiing and competing in show jumping in the Pyrenees mountains collecting an abundance of injures turning into chronic pains. I found myself riddled in pain in my 20’s sitting at desks in stressful jobs selling real estate in Andorra and the French Alps. My injuries coupled with my bad posture created chronic pains I knew I couldn’t live with for the rest of my life.

Being in pain and living in a world in chaos sent me on a 15 year journey researching, traveling around the world studying yoga, meditation, body-work, healing arts and transformational tools. I never set off thinking I would teach and am still surprised to this day to be fortunate enough to make a career of my passion. It’s been so enriching to have met, studied and worked with amazing teachers, each influencing my work. Freeing myself from chronic physical, mental and emotional suffering and seeing others can do the same, drives me to continue refining and sharing. I’ve hosted dozens of transformational retreats in North Africa, Europe, South East Asia and South America offering experiences to inspire and support others to embark on the life changing journey of realizing their own body’s wisdom and freeing themselves.
During these strange times, anchors into presence are essential. The most profound and meaningful impact any of us can have, is through ourselves. Real change can only be when we truly embody the change we wish to see in the world.
I first learned about yoga from my greatest teacher; Dad. As he practiced on the living room floor with a big black and white book, he would copy the book and I would copy him into shoulder stands. I’ll never forget the feeling after my fist yoga class in my teens, it was a Kundalini class in Andorra, I knew right away I would dive in to study what I had just experienced.
I feel incredibly blessed to have met, studied and spent time learning from some incredible teachers:
In 2012 I was lucky to stumble upon Dr Jagadish in Mysore India spending the winter by Dr Jag’s side, shadowing his consultations, learning his views and ways changed the way I saw and understood our bodies. I understood that an organ can affect any part of the body, that food can be poison or medicine. I came away seeing our bodies as an entire organism of interrelated systems.
Howard Evans in Mallorca taught me the immense healing capacity of space holding, observation and deep listening. Our bodies and our whole selves deepest desire is to heal, if only we allow this.
Zaira Leal inspires me with her immense dedication, her gift of storytelling and her art of weaving philosophy into movement sequence.
Translating for Swami Ramananda in Patagonia was a profound experience of service, and even as I relisten to parts of the two week training, my mind and ego receive their reminder – our mind is to be of service to the highest.
Working closely with Bowspring founders Desi Springer and John Friend in Colorado, Argentina and across Europe for 5 years I became fascinated by the possibility of healing through restoring bouncy, springy, natural movement. The effects of ageing and accumulated aches and pains can be reversed by moving towards Tensegrity ‘tension with integrity’, all parts are connected and we can create balance of the whole where all parts work together in harmony.
Christy Punnett’s love for stoicism “Memento mori” – ‘remember you shall die’ a practical guide and reminder. “You could leave life right now. Let that determine what you do and say and think.” Meditations 2.11
Having the chance to attend dissections online with Tom Myers & Todd Garcia – being able to see into the miracle of the body and try to understand the world of fascia and the interconnectedness has me humbled at how much more there is yet to discover of the great mystery.
Spending my formative years living and breathing with horses taught me a level of connection and language beyond words.
Lastly but not least, my students are my greatest teachers. I say this with overflowing gratitude, for my students wanting to explore together and showing up, receiving their feedback teaches me what works as we learn and evolve together.
Sharing this journey of self-discovery and witnessing the impact of deeper self knowing, is one of the greatest blessings of my life, I am forever humbled to be here, practicing.
